The ERNACT network is inviting female staff to share their experience in the EU cooperation ecosystem. Please complete our short survey!
19 April 2021 - ERNACT  project
Inspired by International Women's Day, the ERNACT network have developed a short survey to find out more about women working in EU projects environment.

Did you know that 75% of ERNACT’s workforce are female and organisation’s EU project committees contain an-ever growing percentage of female employees? This year ERNACT is 30 years old and there has been little or no discussion by EU projects on the experiences or needs of female staff in this interregional, transnational or cross-border project ecosystem.

Inspired by International Women’s Day and our 30th Anniversary, ERNACT staff decided to jointly carry out a questionnaire to develop a better understanding of women's experience in this ecosystem and to reflect any findings into ERNACT's own projects, work practices and policies.

“Women face a number of challenges in the advancement of their careers and this has been intensified during the current pandemic. This survey addresses topics that are sometimes overlooked within the EU projects cooperation environment. The questionnaire has been welcomed by women across Europe, and in the first few days, we received almost 100 responses with very interesting conclusions that will be analysed”, Dr Caitriona Strain, ERNACT Programme Manager.

This short questionnaire is aimed at women working in technical fields such as digital transformation and decarbonisation, including innovation and entrepreneurship. Please note that the survey won’t take longer than 10 minutes to complete. Have your say here! Also, please feel free to forward it to other women that you know who work in EU cooperation projects!

Thank you very much in advance for your contribution and stay tuned for the conclusions!
