E6 partners partners, focused on extending the lifetime of Electrical and Electronic Equipment through policy change, advocacy & stakeholder engagement
11 April 2025 - E6  project
From 1st to 3rd April 2025, the city of Nevers, France, was the location for the third live meeting of the Interreg North-West Europe E6 project partners, focused on extending the lifetime of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EEE) through policy change, advocacy and stakeholder engagement.

Hosted by Nièvre Numérique, Nevers Agglomération and DAVI held at Inkub Agora Business and other key venues across the city, the meeting brought together project partners and stakeholders from across North-West Europe. The programme opened with a keynote address by Anne-Charlotte Bonjean from ADEME, who provided strategic insights into open innovation, circular business models, and collaborative ecosystem development in France.

The first day featured a series of interactive activities, including matching tables and a hands-on workshop introducing the SEROI+ methodology to the partners. A panel discussion at the municipal theatre focused on tackling obsolescence and promoting sustainability in the EEE sector. The day concluded with a guided tour of the city and a networking dinner hosted by the City of Nevers.

Building on this momentum, the second day included targeted sessions on the E6 Service Hub and parallel workshops addressing communication campaigns, joint training prototyping, and service hub development. Site visits to the Eco-centre des Grands Prés, AFPA, and Valeo’s Circular Electronics Lab were both engaging and informative. Informal peer-to-peer discussions and 'critical friend' tables encouraged reflective learning, cooperation and exchange.

The final day was dedicated to governance and advocacy for RRR on EEE. The project’s steering committee convened to review progress and reporting, while thematic workshops explored stakeholder mapping, policy development, and user-centred digital service design.

This meeting reaffirmed the E6 project’s commitment to creating a resilient and circular EEE ecosystem through collaborative innovation, stakeholder involvement, and evidence-based policy recommendations. The project gained fresh insights and work on developing and testing tools and methods for lifetime extension through RRR on EEE, On top of this the meeting in Nevers and the French partners have provided additional momentum for strengthening policy engagement and delivering impact.
