On 13 and 14 May 2025, the Jaén County Council organised a seminar focused on Community Participation and New Technologies.

Community Participation ane New Technologies Seminar

The event was aimed at professionals working with populations at risk of social exclusion, as well as key stakeholders from across the region.

Over two days, the seminar served as a platform for discussion and knowledge exchange on how digital tools and participatory approaches can support social inclusion, civic engagement and improved access to services for vulnerable groups. Attendees included social workers, local government staff, representatives of civil society organisations and specialists in digital transformation.

This initiative is part of broader efforts to promote social inclusion through innovation and aligns with the values of cooperation and knowledge sharing encouraged by European projects. The event also highlighted the value of interregional dialogue in addressing common challenges.
