Foenix taks a major step towards achieving the WEEELABEX certification!

< Go Back
Foenix has taken an important step towards achieving the European quality standard for the responsible collection, treatment, and recycling of WEEE.
20 August 2025 - E6  project
It ensures that electronic waste is managed in line with the highest environmental, health, and safety standards, while contributing to the circular economy through the recovery of valuable raw materials.

Being WEEELABEX certified demonstrates that an organisation: complies with EU and national legislation on WEEE, follows best practices in recycling and resource recovery, operates transparently and safely, contributes to the circular economy by recovering valuable raw materials from discarded electronics.

Together with Roel Kwantes from Kwantes Raadgeving, the team has successfully completed the initial quick scan. While a few steps remain, they are well on track to meeting the certification requirements. This represents a significant milestone in their ongoing commitment to quality, compliance, and circular excellence.
